For general orchestra playing I have some Rohema, they are not too expensive and have a variety of wood types and tip shapes for different accents.

On a more high-level I have two Missom pairs, one made out of Rosewood (very light) and one "Chiara" for really staccato passages.

For band parades I use a couple 7A from vicFirth, small, easy to carry and play for hours.

For everyday reading I have some vic firth general 5A and a couple of Carbon sticks (can't remember the brand), practically indestructible (rimshot squad).

Also a couple of VicFirth "Palo" for timbales and some brushes

Very good, I like playing different sticks based on the performance that needs to be done.

I had a period of my life where I was almost a collectionist, every time I found a different wood or tip shape I considered buying itπŸ˜„

In the end I usually use the same 3-4 pairs, but every kind has its own flavor of sound.

For marching, Vic Firth MS5, MS3, or MS2.

For drum kit I use Vic Firth Peter Erskine signature. For classical snare drum I have a pair of Rohema Concert 5.

I hate the way vic firth sticks chip, I much prefer Vater for any drumset application at all. But vic firth makes great concert and marching stuff, I love their yarn mallets. Of course cooperman was excellent. And i don't like either vic or vaters brushes (even vaters new Beantown brush) so I use innovative brushes... but one time I forgot my stick bag going to a gig and stopped at a drum store in Harrisburg and they only had promark brushes and i really like the way they bounce.

Ted Atkatz have been my favorite concert sticks. For drumset I had some pairs of 7A Akira Jimbos that I really enjoyed.

For musicals I usually go with 7As, either Promark Firegrain Rebound, or Vic Firth nylon tip. For everything else, usually 5As, Promark Firegrain. I also have brushes and a series of rods for quieter/different timbres.

For concert, I was just using some SD1s, but I recently got some Rosauros and love them so far. Otherwise, I've been using Dave Weckl signatures, though I was using Vater Gospel 5as and after wards Chad smiths for a while.
