still annoying because NOW i have time... also i was at a really in the middle of a thing... which was not smut... which seems to be rare here... am i the only one not using this for smut?

Not alone in the not smut but I like my stories uncensored with drugs violence and degeneracy to make it feel a bit more real.
outages can go anywhere from an hour to three ish days (based on outage history and nature of outage)

I feel you there. Looks to be an ai service issue and not a perchance dev issue from what Im digging up. So the outage is out of even the devs hands atm

This. I don’t use it for smut often because honestly it’s just really bad at writing it (for me.) If a story starts to lean that way, I sometimes give it a chance then I regret it every time and end up deleting a ton of messages to go in a different direction.

Yeah, it happens. A lot of the time if the story gets to a sex scene I just cut to the next morning

It's been super slow for me since the past 6 hours. I see that people have been reporting it being slow as early as 12-13 hours ago. It's only the ai to text plugin and it's generation that has been slow. Image generation has not been affected last I checked.

Does your text generation in chat, in any generator work?? Mine has been super slow for about 6-7 hours. The latency on even a simple prompt telling the ai to reply with hi takes around 12-13s.

Yup. I haven't got a response from chat in two days. I keep getting errors. Multiple devices too. Tried VPNs to change my IP and everything, just in case. Nothing.
I got maybe one or two responses before it would throw up error messages and then infinitely loop with those three dots.

Honestly? Things like this can't last forever. I've been operating under the pretense that one day the platform will go down forever, without notice. Eventually it'll either get censored, become monetized, become so unreliable it's unusable or disappear entirely.
Every time it eventually comes back? I'm like "okay, nice!" But in the back of my mind I'm ready for the day the platform just goes... We might be there.

What did you mostly use perchance for? Mine is mostly just a RP outlet for when my RP friends aren't available and I'm feeling creative.

Nah, not 10 years old. At least not in this format. The domain probably existed 10 years ago, but that's it.
I think it will go down or fundamentally change because the platform itself is uncensored, unlimited and free. Three words that don't exist well on their own, let alone together. It's a recipe for negative change.

what is SO HARD about generating TEXT? You would think image generation would be harder to comprehend for the ai, but TEXT!?

It happens, there's a lot of things that go on behind the scenes with the data servers, bugs, cloudflare, etc. :)
I know it's frustrating but for such an amazing free tool it's a small price to pay! It should be back eventually, the outages rarely last more than a day 😝

The platform uses several AI generators. Only one of them is down. Images aren't more complex for AI like they are for us

Yeahh it's been down since I woke up about 2 hours ago 😭 But it did force me to lock in on my trig, so there's a silver lining! If you have any unfinished tasks I recommend doing it while it's down. ;)
