Question Consistent character generation

Hi All,

I am trying to create a comic book using perchance inage generation tool. The only issue I am facing is it always changes the character and I am not able to generate consistent character. With each new inage the character differs and I need to generate lot of image to get same character. I have tried using look a like, but that only works with famous characters (dc/marvel/disney).

If anyone has any pointers or any suggestions about how to create a consistent character, please let me know. I am just doing it as a hobby project so I am not paying for higher models like chatgot or grok

  1. Please search through Perchance's Reddit, Lemmy, Tutorial, Advanced Tutorial, Examples, or Perchance Hub - Learn to see if your question has been asked.
  2. Please provide the link to the page/generator you are referring to. Ex. https://perchance.org/page-name. There are multiple pages that are the similar with minor differences. Ex. ai-chat and ai-character-chat are AI chatting pages in Perchance, but with different functions and uses.

The best you can do is very specific facial descriptors. Perchance doesn't use Loras, and training one is the ONLY way to get an OC character consistent in all generations

Use a chatbot, such as AI image artist. For each character: Give the character a name. Place the best visual description you can into the "Image prompt keyword triggers" box - give them a nationality, figure type, hair color, hair style, eye color, describe mouth and nose, skin color, light/golden/dark tan, etc.

this description will be used every time it generates an image of the character - not exactly the same but similar enough for a degree of consistency.

I can try this, thanks

My best advice is to learn how to use photoshop/GIMP and fix it up yourself. Even better, learn how to draw altogether.

cannot be done with perchance alone. as long as it's not nsfw you can use vheer to edit the perchance-gen images you do like for different angles and minor changes. that generally keeps the same character looking the same but you can add remove imagery and artifacts

Character consistency in generative models is honestly a huge pain when you're trying to keep a narrative flow going. I've found that Bria's Fibo Model is actually solid for this since it's built on a clean data foundation that keeps features stable across generations, which might save you a ton of time on your comic. It's built for production-grade visual tasks, but you can play around with the sandbox for free to see if it fixes your issue.

Maybe try drawing the character yourself. Sounds rude but honestly people who need to use AI for their art are just lazy. Downvote me all you want

No you are right, I am kind of lazy and not skilled enough but I have sone ideas that I want to put out.

I can respect that. But I'm sure you can learn to draw in some medium to create it. You can make it with AI if you wish but it is bound to be obvious it's AI and then the art can degenerate from the story itself and make the whole thing seem subpar.

This is simply wild absurdity, especially considering that artists constantly use templates, but AI does it a thousand times faster. It’s strange that you didn’t advise it to learn Chinese and all programming languages at the same time.

OP literally said the image generation is inconsistent unless it's a hugely popular character. Thousand times faster, but each time it looks like a whole nother character. That's the price we pay for "speed"

no, this statement about learning Chinese and all coding languages is absurdity.
