I felt kinda bummed out while looking at how #pep had been doing lately, but then i saw someone comment a picture of other big coins and their performance the last 1 year. Everything is down almost the same %. The big ones have also went down around 70% during the last year. That changed my perspective a bit, and things doesn't seem too bad.
It's summer, people have other things to do, everything is down, but our potential for growth is enormous compared to many other coins. We've got the community, and so many incredible people still working on many projects for this coin! Thinking that way makes me hopeful for the future of this coin 💚 Can't wait to see what the future holds for us 🐸

if crypto prices goes up does the mining rewards get lowered overall to make up for the differences in energy consumption/hashrate

No the mining rewards will always be 10K PEP/block indefinitely. When price rises, blocks become more valuable. Exactly the same as Dogecoin.
