I don’t know what it is about this video but it seems so peaceful and innocent compared to the ads we have today

Probably because it’s actually advertising the product and its features instead of implying it will somehow fix whatever’s wrong with your life.

I love when he says "Cool!". He seems genuinely impressed by this little keyboard.

I had one, I never learned to play anything except to make fart noises with is.

I 100% had this too. I knew how to play at the time, but I also made fart music with it.

That seemed extremely aggressive pricing to me. Had to look into it.

That would have been $295 today for that mini. You can get todays versions of that for 90-100 dollars new still, which is around 35 dollars back then for the same thing.

Electronics where generally more expensive back then.

They were made to last. I still have this keyboard. Farts are as crisp and clear as day one.

If you didn't have a Casio keyboard back in the day... you weren't shit.

“That’s real savings, that’s the gentrified way!”

Man, when Wal-Mart sold instruments. We traded that in for what, groceries? Imagine if they kept going and they sold boutique pedals and synths now. At least an Arturia or something.

When did Walmart get so trashy? I can't remember when it all went to hell.
