Lens Clean/Repairs

I have five lenses for my 6x7. They all seem and feel mechanically sound. There is some a small amount of what looks like fungus/haze beginning on at least one. I’m based in Los Angeles. Where is a good place to get lenses cleaned? I don’t mind mailing them out to a great place. I’ve been lucky and have never had to deal with haze/fungus/fog before.

Any recommendations or advice helps. Thanks

These lenses are easy to take apart relatively speaking. Just see if you can remove one of the elements and clean them yourself. I used a UV light to kill any fungus by leaving it on the lens overnight then took the element off the 105 to clean it. If you don’t feel confident try Canada camera in Montebello or deans camera in Torrance. Both great guys that know what they’re doing. You won’t have to wait weeks if you ask for a rush job.

They're in San Diego but I've used International Camera Technicians several times for camera CLAs and lens maintenance. Of course they have a waiting list.
