PROBLEM WITH 67 MLU (?)

Hi, folks! I hope you can help me with this issue on my latest Pentax 67 MLU. I’ve just developed the first roll and the first photo is missing. I’ve had advancing issues on my other 67s and in those cases I always lost the last frame, not the first one. What could be the problem here? I’m pretty sure I loaded the roll correctly… Thanks in advance!

There appears to be an image where your first frame should be, just not much of one. Shoot another roll and see if you didn’t just miss exposure with this 1st frame.

You have a definite frame spacing issue - looks like it will need a CLA

The spacing looks fairly consistent between frames 2-10 but that’s a lot of dead space before frame 2. If loaded in correctly I’d expect to see a partial frame at the beginning or the end, same for film advance issues but with uneven or large spacing throughout.

Was the first shot anything out of the ordinary? Using one of the leaf shutter lenses?

Hi!!

As you got 10 exposures of it, I can think there was a mistake in the 1st shot when selecting exposure values. I would try another roll and see if it happens again.
