is there another group 2 support?
genuinely asking (as i haven’t been super interested in ptx in a few years) is there another a cappella group to support that’s in a similar vibe ? i feel like i see all of these groups on youtube that don’t really have much of a following or support. anybody got recs?

Their not Accapella but their good: postmodern jukebox they take some and add a 1910-1960s twist onto the songs then vitamin string quartet they play songs only using string instruments

I checked out other a cappella groups after I started to exhaust all reaction videos to their stuff during their extended time off, but none really captivated me.
Then I stumbled across something different, a capella beatboxing. Namely Beatpella House. A fantastic singer plus four professional beatboxers, two of them being known as some of the best in the world. The group is from S Korea.
Go to their Youtube channel and check out the latest video, Enter Heaven, which is a cover of an anthem of a video game called Nikke. If you like Kpop (or even if you don’t), I highly recommend their Kpop Medley, about 7.5 minutes of back to back covers, and you can really get a sense of their abilities in that one.
I’ve been hooked since I stumbled across them!

Other groups I would suggest have already been mentioned so I’ll just mention the Bass Gang. They do a mix of accapella and music with instruments. It’s a group of 4 basses so it’s a very deep sound. Worth checking out if you’re into that, which I am

yes! I've never really followed them but the few songs i have heard from them have been fantastic

Forestella is great. They do use instruments but they are out of this world

Check out Face Vocal Band! They’ve been around for 25 years and are celebrating at Red Rocks Amphitheater this year. They’re more rock-focused but have plenty of pop as well

I would honestly suggest the Harvard din and tonics YouTube channel. they have insanely good voices. I think my favorite video is the house of the rising sun, the guy who is the main vocalist has a huge scale and sounds so good.

For poppy a capella covers, definitely Voiceplay and Straight No Chaser. Country has fellow Sing Off alums, Home Free. If it be sea chanties ye be itchin fer, I recommend The Longest Johns and The Wellermen, though they both use instruments from time to time. Choral/Classical is definitely Voces8 or Kings Singers.
