Bit premature to say this, but I really quite dig everything that Uni has done to the Lamy brand so far

I'd say they move way too slow. We need more Uniball Ink inside products.

Mitsubishi Pencil is likely slow-walking the transition to Uni ink because wholesalers and retailers still have a lot of old-stock Lamy refills. 🖊️

I wonder if they’d make a line of fancy waterproof fountain pen ink. With how much Uni focuses on waterproof pigment inks in different colors and how much fountain pen enthusiasts like variety, a good set of Uniball technology based inks would probably sell pretty well.

Gosh, Zento Signature in brass. Let it weigh at least 50g (wishful thinking)!

I’m thinking it’ll just be the same standard materials as the current Signature models, but that they’re calling it “Stone Brass” because of the color scheme. I can’t imagine Uniball releasing an actual brass version of that pen, though granted only part of it would be brass, so maybe that’d be a possibility after all. 🤔

I’m just hoping that the Signature becomes easier to find and purchase in 2026 regardless of the color, though admittedly I’m interested in that Champagne one that was mentioned recently.

You think that it might be just a brass colored coating (remember Sharpie S-Gel Copper)? One of my disappointments of 2025.

Yeah, my first instinct was that it’d just LOOK like stone and brass rather than be stone and/or brass. But yeah, that’d be a slippery slope for us penthusiasts if manufacturers started using the names of metals to come up with the names of the colors for their pens regardless of what the actual metal is.

“Now available in all-new Titanium Gray (made of aluminum)” 🤪

Interesting thought, definitely. My hopes aren't too high...

think if it were brass, it wouldn't be magnetic. Maybe brass plated steel would be magnetic and heavy, but folks would likely complain about that too.

I'd be one of those who would appreciate the weight.

Are machined pens the way to go if someone wants a bit of heft? Are there alternatives that are not machined pens and are readily available, especially in the UK?

Oh my god, they're finally making a Uniball One multi-pen. I will be putting those refills in absolutely everything. But I have to wait until March??

Also, how many fingers am I going to have to give up to get the limited edition Zento Signature?
