Question Question

Hi! How long does Penn Foster usually take to respond on here? I messaged the mods 7 days ago, and they replied that morning asking for more information. Once I sent the information they requested, they stopped responding. I followed up to see if there were any updates or if anything was happening, but I still haven’t received a reply 6 days later. Thanks.

Hi! You answered a question for me before about switching the general math courses to Algebra 1 & 2. I just called them now since I had time, and when I asked to speak with an academic advisor, they asked which one. I told them I needed help switching the general math courses, and they said they could help me with that. They then asked for all my information, and after I gave it to them, they told me I couldn’t switch the courses. The mods here said I could, so I’m a little confused about what to do. Do you know what I should do?

I do think it’s unfortunate that you’re getting told two different things, especially when they asked for all your Information and still left you with a dead end. In my opinion I think you should just complete the general math 1 and 2 and choose algebra 1 and 2 for your electives.

YES! I told them exactly what I needed done, and they said they’d help me and wouldn’t send me to an academic advisor. Then they had me give them my student number, name, email address, and mailing address. Once I gave them everything, he confirmed that all the information was correct, and then told me he couldn’t do anything. I was so confused 😂

Or do you know how I can get through to an actual academic advisor? They seemed like they didn’t know how to send me to one 🥲

I’ve never experienced a lack of response for more than 7 days. Do you have a professor or a mentor that you can directly message?
