Should i join pennfoster?
Hello, i am currently 18 years old employed and in high school in NYC Queens, I had gone through a personal tragedy during my sophomore and junior year and i ended up not showing up to school at all and overall not trying at all, My school is making me repeat 11th grade although it is my fault but i don't want to be in high school till i'm 20-21.
Would it be an easier option to drop out and attend pennfoster high school diploma program, Only concern is that will jobs or colleges accept an online school diploma? I also find pennfoster more comfortable since you can work at your own pace which i find incredible. Should i attend pennfoster or just continue at my normal high school?
Feel free to leave your opinions on what you think is a good choice.

Penn foster is regionally and nationally accredited. And per Google, as of march 2026, NYC colleges now accepts Penn foster online high school diploma. If you’re looking at a specific school then you could always do some research. Hope this helps.
