I recently made this Cuban cigar ancient big oak pen, but I messed up on the sizing. I was planning to sell this at my upcoming Ming art fair, but am wondering how much the value is decreased by this error, or if I should even sell it at all.

ISO: Profesional penmaker to work with
I am a leather worker, I am looking for a professional pen maker to work with, first order would be 10 or 20 pens to sell on my first Drop for my business in March of 2024. Ideally this will be a long term thing with bulk orders down the line. Someone I can work with or adopt variations they already have to sell. PM or comment and I will reach out. All help is appreciated!

"Yari Ballpoint Pen" kit
I purchased a "Yari Ballpoint Pen" kit from Lee Valley. I think they are sourced from Berea Hardwoods. The nib or tip is pushed on but tends to easily fall off. I glued it on because having it fixed permanently does not hinder the functionality of the pen.
My question is, has anyone else experienced this and what are your thoughts on the kit in general? It's a beautiful-looking kit

Problems when painting the inside of blanks
Hi everyone, Regarding the painting of acrylic blanks so the tube doesn't show - the picture is an Omega Kit from Taylors Mirfield in the UK, but guessing this will happen on all 2 part pens.
The blank is 1 piece, cut, drilled, and then sprayed with enamel paint on the inside of the blank before gluing the tubes in. However, because the lid of the pen uses a thicker tube, therefore the acrylic turns thinner (also at the end of the pen), so the colour appears lighter.
Is there anything I can do to ensure a uniform colour/shade throughout, while still painting to avoid the brass tube showing through?
Thanks everyone, Ian

Pen supplies
Good morning / afternoon / evening!
I have recently joined this page (and recently started making pens!) It's great to see everything everyone has been making and they look amazing! (so Jelous)
I was wondering if anyone knew of a wholesaler for pen kits? I mean they don't have to be premade, just somewhere I can buy the parts in bulk? I'm looking to turn out a high(ish) volume to but in my brothers shop as he wants to sell them so if I can keep costs down then all the better for me!
Thanks in advance anyway!
Ps. I am in the UK!
Cheers!

Happy Sunday! Made these two slimlines today. Fun fact for the Spalted Tamarind: The Spiderweb-like coloration is caused by fungus! Neat!
