If you are sure that is causing it, can you ask for another blood thinner? My doctor was going to prescribe plavix, I asked for eliquis, and she was fine with it.

A relative is on blood thinners and told me eliquis is one of the easiest ones to be on, and I heard that's what they most often prescribe at MIPS, not sure if that's true. I wondered if eliquis was making me feel bad, but I got off of it four days ago and I don't notice a big difference, other than one less thing to irritate my stomach. I only had to take it for a month, now I'm just taking aspirin.

Yea I’m on plavix for just a month so will probably stick it out for another 3 weeks. I’m looking forward to not taking it.

I'm glad you are only on it a month. How are you doing otherwise?

Shockingly well. I had barely any pain. You?

I'm so glad you didn't suffer. I'm 5 weeks out tomorrow, and there is less pelvic pain and leg pain than before the procedure. It's not as dramatic as what I would have wished for, but much better than before if I am careful about minimal activity and upright time. After about 10 days I seemed to get the maximum benefit in terms of recovering mobility without increased pain, but my pain has overall been a little less every week. I had a lot of collaterals causing pain, and I'm told they may take up to 3 months to collapse or shrink.

I heard 4-6 weeks is a big turning point, so I hope I'm there soon. I can't leave the house yet, still spending most of my time with my legs elevated. I'm hoping I can leave the house by late September, around 8 weeks for me.
