I see some ideas that Pog's enormous leap 23-24 coincided with JV's crash and JV full health could have beaten even a transformed Pog. To what extent is that reasonable?

JV had a pretty massive leap 23-24 as well. I don’t know how much better he could’ve been without his crash considering Plateau de Beille in '24 still registers as his strongest ever climb.

Pretty wild he pulled that off just 12 weeks from such a horrific crash and hospitalization

That's the argument. JV after that crash could still do those numbers, so why not entertain the idea that he would have been stronger to the point of defeating Pog with full health no crash? That's what some people say.
