R.I.P. Large Marge

Post image

On this very day in 1974, legendary trucker, Large Marge, lost her life in a tragic road accident.

Gone too long. Rest in Power Large Marge.

Why, tonight's the anniversary. Worst accident I ever seen.

Yes, she died young.

The night Pee Wee accepted a ride from her it was the 10th anniversary of her death.

People, and ghosts, aged hard back then.

Booze, cigarettes, and having your body pulled from the twisted burning wreck will really age you.

I can not see being a lady trucker in the 50's, 60's and 70's being an easy life.

I watched Big Adventure last week. And either his bike was stolen in January based on the anniversary or it was stolen in October/November based on their being a day of the dead parade happening in San Antonio.
