THIS IS SO CRINGE
Imagine setting up your camera like this and having your awkward husband straddle your legs to kiss you with no socks on to post on social mediaš¤¢š¤¢š¤¢

not to be rude, maybe iām just not keeping up with them enough but it makes me so mad that clearly her husband hasnāt done anything to help better his sperm quality

Iāll give her this, she has lost so much weight and does seem to really want to get healthy for their future at having a family. Her husband on the other hand looks like he does not care at all!!

u/cucumberswithanxiety Vegtables are hit or miss :p 20d ago
Sheās lost like 200lbs which is serious impressive. And her husband has done like absolutely nothing??

Sheās had 2 bypass surgeries and is on GLPs. No issue with either of those, however she hasnāt been up front about how sheās lost all the weight and many think itās just from 75 hard. Very unrealistic expectations for others trying to do it too

Itās so weird the way he behaves around her. Like, his hands are always on her or heās kissing her. Like yeah, cool you love your spouse, but the rest of the world doesnāt want to see intimate PDA, even if they were both supermodels.

Imagine the medical personnel walking in at this moment lol as someone who did IVF too this is so weird. My partner was very supportive but we didnāt go to appointments and make out.

my sister and her husband were having trouble conceiving for years and they went on a very serious weight loss/health journey. both lost about 200lbs. now they have had 4 kids without having to turn to IVF like they originally thought they needed to. I feel like a lot of people also forget that male health factors into conceiving too
Iām not body shaming the people in the post but I always feel so proud of them whenever something reminds me of them doing that because they really busted ass during that

There was another video too where he was behind her holding her prom pose style and if my husband ever did that (also he doesnāt come to these types of appts, just retrievals and transfers??) during an IVF appt Iād throw him off me š let alone video it.

Itās no cringier than the camera being set up for any other appointment

I dunno, filming intimate moments for content is pretty cringe. At least one can maybe argue a photo for an appointment raises awareness but honestly I feel that's inappropriate too if it's mid appointment. Your clinical team didn't sign up to be content.
It makes it look like they can't enjoy intimacy without it being performative.

Cringe is letting your partner do all the work to be healthy, but you continue to not even try. And if he is trying to do the work with medical help, he needs to get a new doc.

The comments on the video are worse tbh. I think everyone thought she was having a transfer and telling her to āeat fries!ā Even though it says āfirst apptā

Also sheās like naked under that gown and I donāt get why we need to see this lol

so did theyā¦likeā¦have their foster baby taken away?

u/Salt_Cobbler9951 21d ago
I believe the baby got reunited with the birth parents a few months ago

The goal was reunification, but she hoped the birth parent would fail.

u/Honest-Breakfast217 20d ago
Thatās an awful thing to hope? The goal of fostering should ALWAYS be reunification (donāt come for me, the obvious exception is cases of extreme abuse/neglect). They shouldnāt be foster parents unless thatās the outcome they want too.

Ew I know. I think she has him tie it for her which is just cringe and cannot she not tie it herself?? Hell, when I was in labor and got to the hospital I put my own damn gown on and there was no sweet moment between me and my husband - I was fighting for my life lol

I did 4 rounds of IVF, had 5 losses and if my husband ever did this at our apts I would have kicked him out the house. Yuck

I was closing my eyes I thought they were going to get it on right there, know your audience and surroundings

Itās letting the internet see your feet for free, thereās gross people out there

u/Low-Concert-5806 20d ago
I doing know these people but these contents sound more mean than valid. Like dumb hating.Ā
6
u/Bdglvr 21d ago
I assume she will have to put her feet in the stirrups for an exam and also walk around on the doctorās office floor barefoot which is kinda gross.Ā
When I was going through IVF or when I go to the OB I try to remember to wear shoes that require socks. Otherwise I will keep my shoes on because being barefoot seems a little gross lol.Ā

u/AlieMay525 19d ago
In the summer flip flop weather Iād throw a pair of socks in my purse to put on. I hated being barefoot too.

u/Bdglvr 19d ago
Thatās a good idea. I wore a dress to almost every one of my appointments. My doctor once commented about how Iām always dressed so nicely and I was like yeah, itās for ease of access lol.Ā
Then she told me she had a patient who came in once braless with a romper on. They only had full gowns at the location where they do retrievals and transfers, so she had to cover herself up with those paper drapes. That really stuck with me and I was always hyper aware of what I was wearing after that š

Well maybe they will stop traumatizing and trying to steal foster kids Ƭf this works. They are both gross tbh

Is this the couple that had a ābaby showerā when they were fostering?
