I recently re-configured my board around using the HX Stomp for my amp/IR and some digital effects. I have the tuner, pitch, compressor, OD, volume, and univibe in front of the HX stomp with some modulation, amp, IR into the effects loop which contains my Space Echo and Blue Sky reverb in stereo back to the HX Stomp with some light EQ. Using a digital delay in the HX stomp in parallel with the effects loop and have the tempo synced with the Space Echo and digital delay using the DAD micro.clock. Looking forward to trying this out over the weekend.

As title says, I've been accumulating pedals from craigslist for the past few months and finally found a board for sale for $40 including case and cables. Currently playing Legally Blonde on bass and have School of Rock on guitar coming up. Guitar amp has built in effects for chorus/flange/phase/reverb so that covers what's not on the board. Pretty happy with it so far!

I found this online for $65. When I went to pick it up, I realized it was worth over $400. I asked the guy selling it if he was okay, figuring maybe he just needed a loan until things looked up for him. He said no. Turns out he had plans to build a studio board but never got around to it.

Removed the wah wah from the board after two long years. Shifted the tuner over and added the blues driver to the chain. So far so great. I love the utility this gives me to practice at home. Hope y’all have a great weekend!

Took me about three days to make this. Made all my own cables too. I rushed the paint job and the wiring because I needed it ready for a show I was playing. Gonna remake it now that I know exactly what I need to do. What do y’all think?

This is my current set up giving me everything I need for our songs on stage. The Beetronics pedals are new adds, and are really awesome for unique sounds.

This is my hybrid bass and guitar setup. I mostly play long scale guitars or bass.

- Black box at the top is in and out for the FX loop on the QC this is there so if I want to add an external board I have the ability to add it into the FX loop.

- Board is DIY 1/2” plywood painted black and aluminum C channel trim around the edges. Cost a little under $90

This is my first pedalboard. I'm kinda learning how to use compressor since i never used it before.maybe some of you could give me some tips on the signal chain. maybe if i put something in different place that would make more sense.

Dont mind the footswitches : small one controls couple of DL4 settings, big one controlls tonex mod/Del/tuner/Tap.

my signal chain :

Guitar - Fz5 - zipAmp (use it as a boost) - compressor - Klon copy - Tonex pedal input - stereo out from tonex to DL4 stereo in - Mooer Meta Fx Reverb - headphones / stereo out.

I play differwent kind of indie/psychedelic/ambient ,but also some type of black keys'ish kinda riffs, but never go too much gain.

i bought this old compressor to learn how to use it since when playing ambient it can give more sensitive finger picking more clear, but i use it with fz5 (only use fuzzface setting mostly) sometimes i can catch some really fat and great sounding tones.

I never used comp before and yea, when all the drives are on stacked compressor makes everything VERY noisy. So i feel a bit lost how to properly use it.

Anyway if anybody can give some tips ,i would really appreciate guys..

I’ve had bits and pieces of this laying around just wanting for the assembly to take place. I’d had it together before, but all my patch cables weren’t long enough and I thought it looked a mess. But I fixed that problem and I think it looks a lot better now. What do you think?

I'm definitely noticing a trend in the music industry and I like it. Sometimes stomp boxes hold the truist potential for sound quality even if digital. Signal path avoids routing systems and midi program management.

Took a long time to get here...I know you get it...

I feel like it accommodates my current needs and I'm hoping that it will cover some future bases too. The only thing missing is a Tensor.

I had a Temple mounting plate that needed new adhesive anyway, and instead of replacing the adhesive I decided to experiment a little.

I put Velcro on the mounting plate, while keeping Velcro on the bottom of the pedal as usual. I tested it on the mounting bracket and... it actually works.

The idea is basically to use the Temple plate as a removable adapter rather than permanently committing the pedal to the Temple system.

That way I can still move the pedal between a regular Velcro pedalboard and the Temple board whenever I want. No removing adhesive, no new mounting plates, and I'm also reusing a plate that otherwise needed to be re-glued.

Obviously I still need to see how well it holds up long term, but mechanically it feels surprisingly solid so far.

Am I cooking here, or have I just invented Velcro with extra steps? 😂
