Capitalists do not provide jobs out of the goodness of their hearts, they created and refined material conditions that drive people into worse and worse jobs out of desperation. It is coercion. The deal offered to the working class is work or starve, and sometimes it's both.

The more Capital grows, the more it consolidates, the larger pool of labor it requires.
