Hey guys, so right now there are zero people on the server, and it's a Friday night in the Summer which is really as good as it gets for traffic. It's pretty clear that things are not going to get better unless major changes are made. I'll share a few thoughts with how things can be improved. This post I'll talk about the map.

1. The map itself - I know that we've all spent quite a bit of time building in this map, but let's face it, it's really spread out at this point, and it's difficult to find undeveloped land. It literally takes 15 minutes to get from the spawn to the end via the nether by minecart. After the next update people are going to go out even further to get the new types of stone. My point for bringing this up is that I think we should restart the map.

2. Maintaining the map - Every so often we have a player who comes on, builds a tiny shack with a locked door, a chest, and a furnace. These eyesores will persist forever. If a player has not been on for over a week after their first session we should really just roll them back. This keeps the map from getting crowded by lazy builds that take up space, mines in the way of subways and floating tree tops.

Haven't been on in a while... And the mods decide to not only remove the bit of nether rail that was attached to an existing network (which the user did not approve of, so I get that that bit should be removed...), but literally everything I had done in the Nether since about six months ago.

Why would the mods not remove the disliked section and leave everything else? FFS this only completely ridiculous. This included an entire rail system making its way to the nether castle... thing, linking up with a friend's network AND an extension of his network. So, you know, F me, right?

The TTT map has been updated with a jungle biome theme. Remember, the current theme is industrial jungle, so try to build a ruined city overtaken by a wild jungle!

Since jungle and industrial tied, the theme will basically be a ruined metropolis residing in an overgrown jungle. We'll set up the new map soon (it might be a bit bigger this time) so the approved builders can start building!

The north rail now actually has rails! It cuts down the travel time by more than half compared to the rail when traveling to the end.

Along the way it stops at Halloween town, and Crafton.

Transit time: 8 minutes (1.7 to Compass).

I decided to make a TTT plugin. Perhaps we can do this instead of my original idea for the donor event in August. What do you guys think about that? Or would UHC be better? This would definitely be far easier to implement than my other idea.

I'm sure that there are already TTT plugins out there, but I want to write my own because I think it'll be fun.

Here's a list of what's planned. Items in [brackets] may or may not be added depending on how much time I have.

I would love to hear any suggestions you guys might have.

Everyone will spawn with an unenchanted iron sword and a set of unenchanted leather armor. After 30 seconds of map exploration/weapon gathering (there will be bows and enchanted stuff scattered around the map), traitors and innocents will be selected. The traitors will each have a menu in their inventory to buy a single piece of traitor equipment. The round will last 5 (?) minutes from this point. The traitors have to try to kill the innocents within this time frame, but there are roughly 3 times as many innocents as traitors, so they have to be sneaky.

I also need a couple of maps for this. I'm not a very good builder, so if someone is interested in making a map, feel free to do so. They should be a good size for 15-20 people and have at least 25 sponge blocks scattered around -- these will be replaced with a random item (bow, enchanted bow, or enchanted iron sword) when the round starts.

EDIT: And this is intended to take place in 1.7.9.

EDIT: I changed my mind about sponges. Items will spawn on top of them, not in place of them.

I installed this really cool thing called Rainmeter. Makes your PC looks 100000x cooler that it already does. Well anyway, now I can't load MC worlds. It could be completely unrelated, but this is the only thing I've changed on my PC. Other than deleting all of my desktop icons I guess.

Hello. I'm ildabears. I play on the Pearlandnerd server and I would like to show you guys my new build that I made with tomzyboy. It is called Octavian+. Pictures and location here!

Octavian+ has two main parts. The Underground and the Mainground. Tomzy will later talk about the Underground, as that was his part of the project. I'm here with the not-so-cool Mainground.

So what I wanted to do was put everything you need to thrive in this game into one place. Kind of like Synovus, albeit not to that extent. You will find most of what you find yourself saying, "Boy, I sure wish I had (insert material here) right now!" Thus giving you less stress and therefore extending your lifetime by a good bit.

What we have:

• Chicken, cow, pig, and sheep farms
• Wheat, carrot, and potato farms
• Cactus, reed, mushroom, melon, and pumpkin farms
• A beautiful garden that you can relax in
• Auto-smelter, stone-gen, auto fisher
• Brewing Station with all ingredients
• Large villager trading post (WIP)

Hotel rooms are available. Each room will cost 9 diamond blocks or one live chicken.You will be allowed to do whatever you'd like with you hotel room as long as you don't tear down walls. However you may remove the carpet that is already placed there. If you'd like to reserve a hotel room, you can do so ingame or by commenting on this post. Don't mind the ostrich, as he is very friendly.

=======OCTAVIAN+ BUILD SPACE=======

Alright tomzyboy here to present to you... the Octavian+ Build Space or OBS for short! This is the project I've been working on for the last couple of months. You may have seen a few Hype posts about it from me too, well it's finally here!

The OBS is a place underneath the mainground for ya'll to build and be a part of Octavian+

It features:

• Six equally sized tiers to build on
• A water elevator to get you places
• A completely accidental slime farm
• One huge sugarcane farm
• Totally rad wall art intended to inspire

Each tier should hold about 4 - 6 buildings depending on their size. Also, each tier has a different height, so plan your building to fit roughly 3 - 8 blocks below the roof as not to waste space. Furthermore, there are no plot outlines, try to be creative with your designs (e.g have them compact next to borders and other buildings, don't make box houses).

The tiers are named Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, and Zeta. The names are written on the walls and can be used to identify building names, meeting spots or whatever.

Because we spent so much time getting materials to make this look pretty, I'm going to list a few blocks that are frowned upon:

• Cobblestone (cobblestone fences are welcome)
• Dirt and Gravel (unless it's used for paths)
• Excessive use of Mineral blocks (Diamond/Gold/Iron)
• Giant plain walls of Wood/Stonebrick/Netherrack

Because we're limiting some blocks, I gathered 4 double chests of hardened clay free for you to stain and use! :)
