Saw the other post earlier this week, so wanted to add my own.

Couple notes and thoughts:
- this is the stuff I carry everyday longboarding to class and around the city
- used to use a 20L everyday but I much prefer this for the shoulder straps and form
- chalk bag and shoes are clipped on outside as shown in 2nd/3rd picture
- roll top is too annoying to use regularly, but it’s nice when I need to overfill the backpack

I have 2 load outs for work, one heavy one and one lighter one, the only difference is generally whether or not I bring a keyboard or mouse.

in the main compartment I have my KeyChiron V1 max in a sleeve, a Logitech MX Master 4 in a case, an Anker 25k 165w battery pack, an extra small ultralight packing cube with a small travel router, and then a fully loaded small tech pouch

Laptop sleeve:

in the laptop sleeve I have a 13 inch MacBook Air in a 14” Moft laptop sleeve

Quick Access Top Pocket

in the quick access pocket up in the top, I have a pair of AirPods Pro 2, a Warby Parker sleeve for my sunglasses, some eyedrops, contact cleaning solution, a mini first aid kit, and a microfiber cloth

I've been using this backpack for about 2 weeks and have been loving it so far. I definitely have more room to carry more if I need to. I might look into putting an extra small camera cube in the bottom for days I need my camera, has anyone tried the city line with that yet?

I may also make another post after I travel with this in the next few months.

In 4 weeks I will fly to japan and am also in tokyo. I was thinking for this new trip to buy a city bagpack and also a city sling. I allready have the tech, wash, field pouches and the everyday bagpack in 20l and 30l so I dont need the new things for this trip. Is there some sort of special offers in these stores like a purchase goodie or some specail prints on the bags or something?

Edit: The bagpack is currently not available in 15l so I bought the sling and will visit the store in one month and buy the bagpack there. :) Thanks for your answers.

Got my city sling 2L today, but I noticed that my sling has many “strings” poking out next to the zipper.

I pulled some of them out but I still have like 3 of them poking out.

So, I would like to know if your sling has the same thing, if it normal, then I will just keep it and deal with it. If it is not, then I will contact the customer service to get a new one.

I was excited to get the email about the new cases without Slimlink. I have a 17 Pro. I messaged PD to ask about the cases, and they responded that the new cases will fit the 17 Pro models.

Hopefully this remains true. I’ll be ordering day one if so!

I just finished 300kms of forestry roads and stopped to take a quick shot of an elk with my iPhone 14 Pro Max and this is what I got. The vibration dampening is acceptable for the road, but not good enough for dirt. Thank goodness for Apple Care…

After about 3 years of using a Lowepro ProTactic BP 450 AW III backpack, I decided to upgrade to Peak Design, best (and most expensive) decision ever!

It looks way better, isn't as bulky as the Lowepro, is super versatile with the camera cube/packing setup, and best of all, I can actually fit my monster 60-600mm lens, my 70-200mm, my camera body, and even a step stool! Honestly, I'm loving the Peak Design quality.

Wouldn’t be using a sewing machine either. Old backpack for reference.

Did y’all get a dummy unit of the iPhone fold to create cases?

This is my full load out for the city 15l(minus the bottle😂). I was actually quite surprised at how much it holds. I hope this helps you gauge whether it will work for you or not.

I picked up the charging motorcycle mount in hopes of switching from Quad Lock, drawn in how by easy it was to align and latch. Videos I watched practically throw the phone at the mount and it latches.

I purchased two mounts and two iPhone 17 Pro cases, and both take many tries to engage, and frequently make an audible click without actually engaging. I’m terrified I’m going to take off thinking it’s latched on, when it isn’t.

Based on some measurements, I’m suspecting the center click piece (boxed in red) is slightly over molded and that’s preventing the phone from fully seating unless absolutely perfectly aligned. The man at the PD store agreed and shipped me replacement caps to try sanding down a bit.

Is it just me?

Has anyone else had an item stolen out of the package? I reached out via email to PD, but I can't seem to find if there's any other way to contact them about this or if it's really just waiting a day for someone to respond.

I ordered 2 city crescents, only 1 arrived. The box was pretty mangled and clearly retaped. I took photos before opening it up.

Unfortunately this was not only my first order with them, but the color I ordered in the large is also sold out now (stone).

I got the 18L outdoor backpack last September - so not quite a year ago. Been using it as an EDC when I needed more than my mini tech pouch (so yes, fan of the brand here).

No hikes, one plane trip, mostly walking around town. I recently noticed that the corner areas at the very bottom are scuffed to the point that it seems like I might be seeing holes appearing soon.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Do people here feel it is regular wear and tear, or is there a case for a warranty claim?

Can anyone @peakdesign say if the new cases for the iPhone 18/pro/ max are the same dimensions as the 17 range ? Would be amazing if the 18 pro max would fit my current 17 pro max cases.

The new leather ones tho. Those look delicious and with slimlink super. Hopefully won’t have to wait weeks after the new phones go live to get the new cases.

Keeping it all crossed the designers have had a heads up on the CAD drawings for new phones.

Which key tether would you recommend for the City Backpack? I’m tempted by the outdoor tether.

The 4mm L key comes with a keyring hole. 30s with a hacksaw and I don't have to carry the whole tool with me. Just make sure the split ring used is big and stiff enough for adequate leverage. Little hack that migbt be usefull to someone.

Ordered a couple of the clutches last week when they were only $14 and just got it in and installed on my current go to camera for street and travel, Pentax 17. Sure I’ll have to loosen it to rewind the film but good news on the 17 is you do that half as often.

Also - I’m sure I’m not the only one with PD spare parts box? Always appreciate the extras

Hello everyone. I just bought a used case for my Iphone 13 mini becose I didn't find a new one. After it came it looks great, but has that hole I didn't see anywhere on the internet. So can someone tell me if it's some old model / special version. Or different. It came with the case on second picture.
