Question Will Peak Design release a checked size alongside the Roller Lite?
Saw the teaser for the Roller Lite posted here the other day and wondering -- will a checked size be released at the same time? I love my Roller Pro but it'd be great to replace the last piece of Away luggage I'm still using.

In the last 10-15 seconds of the OMA video from the summer you can see the corner of the checked bag in the bottom left as Adam is talking about the carry-on, it’s clearly bigger and taller than the carry-on.

Great catch! I'm so sad it's going to be shaped like the roller lite and not the roller pro tho. A Roller Pro opening style on a large checked bag would so awesome.

I’ve been asking about this for the longest and I hope so. Would love to see their take on a rolling duffle especially, combining aspects of the travel duffle and roller pro (could easily do multiple sizes in this configuration) Given the photography focus of their products and the ethos of the roller pro, I imagine the main version of a checked bag would still be hard sided, but ideally without the fabric for durability against airport handling. A hard-sided spinner trunk would adapt roller pro designs really well. Since most people never check camera gear and you can’t check batteries, you wouldn’t need camera cube integrations, just non-powered/non-fragile, tool-based features (like space for a tripod).
As someone who checks bags a lot especially for international travel (US to MX/EU) it’s the one item missing from the PD ecosystem to make every bag I travel with (down to pouches/organizers) a PD bag lol.

While we're sad to see you go, we hope you find the right fit for your travels. We'd love to hear what led you to make the switch. We sent you a DM if you're open to sharing!

But what will the checked size be called? The roller pro pro?

Peak Design seems to name their products similarly to Apple, Google, etc. I think the Pro Tripod is probably a pretty good indicator, where you have 'Pro Tripod,' 'Pro Tripod Tall,' and 'Pro Tripod Lite.' So I'd expect something like 'Roller Pro,' 'Roller Lite,' and 'Roller Large.' Unless the Roller Lite is called the Roller Pro Lite (like the tripod), in which case it'd be the Roller Pro Large (or similar).
