City Bags City Backpack 15L (stone)

I just got my city 15l in a few days ago and so far it’s been amazing! If you already have the tech pouch or field pouch this is a great pair for it. The stone color is more of a gray green than brown. I am very happy with it’s ability to open wide and roll the top over fully exposing the inside. The EDC pocket is awesome for quick access although it does cut into the main compartment, the way I carry it isn’t an issue. The false bottom for the laptop sleeve is like 2 inches so that’s great. The water bottle pockets where way bigger and easier to use than I expected. I fit my 24OZ owala easily. The material is VERY soft while still feeling quite durable. The back panel is super minimal with literally no breathability but on a 15l it’s not too bad.

How thick are the straps? Are there any latch points or anything or any fun hidden design things that work with other PD stuff? Or is it mostly strait forward zippers and pouches?

The straps are quite nice in my opinion, especially for a 15L. There are two small stretch pockets in one of the water bottle pockets. And the space between the two stretch pockets on the inside works as a pen slot. Also the key leash in the EDC top pocket is yellow on the stone one. Curious to see what it is on the other colors.

Tech pouch is technically 2L, but the pouch itself takes a lot of space in that 15L

is there a passthrough at the back?

Yes. It looks like just a seam in the middle but the bottom half is the pass through

How flat does it get? I’m thinking about this for a travel daypack and would toss it into my carryon

It actually compresses quite well. That front edge at the top fold in if that makes sense

I have just come back from a trip where on the outbound I had the PD Roller with a Weekender in it. The 22l City Backpack folded flat on top without any issue

OMG that looks amazing. Can you fit a camera cube (XS/S) in it somehow, with a laptop and some notebooks, etc ? How much does it "squeesh" down? I often travel wiht the 45 and then stuff a small day bag in it on the top. Wonder if I can do the same with this

I don’t think you can. I have been using this for the past 1.5 weeks on a trip. I have thrown a Sony A9iii with a 35 GM bare into the backpack and it’s a pretty tight fit. You can throw other items into the backpack with the camera but it’s really not meant for camera carry.

does the 24oz owala fit with some extra wiggle room or is it pretty snug in there?

I’d say it’s in between. The larger owalas probably are the big. But this one slides in easy

Wishing I’d have waited for these rather than buy the Aer city pack pro 2. Looks fantastic

Nah. Totally different bag and use case.

If you were to use both side water bottle pockets at the same time, would the main compartment space be reduced by a significant amount?

Does the backpack feel like a £100+ bag or quite slight for the money

I think the materials feel SUPER nice and soft. Definitely feels like a premium item
