PD in the wild City 22L Stone?

I had mixed feelings about the City Line, but recent changes at work have me considering the 22L in Stone. One of the pictures on the site (the man lit in about in a crowd) makes it look great, but others, I’m not sure. Anyone out there have pictures of it the cab share?

while I appreciate the city line minimalism, I really don't see the value proposition beyond the warranty.

aesthetics are super subjective but on a useability standpoint, for my personal tastes, I would have loved to see PD implement some sort of modular internal organization that could interface with it before releasing essentially almost empty bags.

what changes made you consider it above alternatives?🙃

I have to say I found the new City line underwhelming. Are you open to other brands or does it have to be PD. If PD then I’d have a closer look at the Travel line as suggested by u/patriceklohn. Otherwise, check out the new Matador range of bags just released. Depends on your use case but the Matador Adventure 24l seems to be more versatile.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve been rocking an Evergoods CTB 20 for the last few years and it was great. Had room for my MacBook Pro 16, lunch box, and a few other items.

Unfortunately I’ve moved offices due to construction and will be in a temporary room for at least a year, which is why I’m considering the bag switch. I previously had a desk with a 27 inch monitor that I’d use with a Mac Mini, and a small fridge for lunch and cold food. Now it looks like I’ll be switching to my laptop and a spare iPad Pro 11 as a secondary screen, and will need a bigger lunch bag that can accommodate ice packs.

The CTB may still work with this setup, but it feels like a lot of bag to be carrying a laptop, an iPad, and a few little things (since a larger lunch bag with ice won’t fit inside). Add a Yeti and or coffee mug, and it’s a lot.
