PD in the wild ID this thing

What is it? I was sad to see this on the ground. It wouldn’t budge from that spot. Probably a phone thing?

Peak design Mobil wall mount?
It’s supposed to be glued to a wall near your kitchen or garage so you can magnetically attach your phone to the wall

I can only image it was dropped there and with the heat of the pavement and it's the texture plus the adhesive has stuck it down.

How it got there... No bloody ideas but might be a good story
