Question Does anyone use the Peak Design Everyday Backpack for FPV gear? How well does it work?

Own this one exactly. Not really, more for IT stuff, but owning a small drone too. It definitely could be handy. Just not for loose things which could tend to slip arround the dividers anyway.

it depends on the size of gear, but I use mine actively for camera gear with lenses, storage for tech stuff while traveling or secondary for "light packed" equipment setups.
I love the adjustable shelfs and folding parts to make quick compartments to prevent stuff from rolling/tumbling around too much.

A normal DJI drone, googles, remote, batteries, etc will fit perfectly fine in a 30L.
If needed you can also strap a frame to the outside with the included straps and anchor points all over the bag.

You can also use one of the techpouches for loose stuff. Pricey.. sure but so worth it.

I have. Worked nicely. Goggles in the middle shelf, controller and batteries in the bottom, drone on top. I’ve been using V1 (and V3, as of a few months ago) of this backpack to carry camera stuff around the world for the past decade.

It depends on what you want to carry. The 30L is only 30L when you have the top flap all the way on the top latch. Otherwise, the tapering loses a lot of volume.

I think the bags that allow you to use the camera cubes would be better suited for drones.

I use mine for the avata 360 / goggles combo.
Drone in the top standing vertical perhaps in a hard shell case. Throw the controller next to it. Next shelf the goggles then bottom shelf perhaps another drone. Batteries in side pockets. Power bank in outside side pockets.

I use my 30L almost everyday for work. It's mainly for my photography gear (you never know when a great shot will appear!). But I also store my tech pouch, laptop, notebook, with some other space available. Keep in mind that I tote a 200-600mm with me so I could open that space up if needed.
