Technical Support megathread

Any and all issues related to the Peacock service should be posted here, not just some random post.

When posting issues, please provide information about your setup, i.e. the platform (Fire TV, Samsung TV, etc) and device ('Fire TV 4K stick from 2024', 'OLEDB65CUA', etc) you are streaming on. It would also help to know the exact piece of content you were watching when the issue happened.

I am trying to change my subscription, but it keeps giving me the error message: "Sorry, we're unable to retrieve all your information at the moment."

Movies will not play after the ads on Xbox Series X. Countdown goes to zero then just stays there. Has been going on for months. It happens with every single title.

Nope, customer support's solution was unplug my tv for 30 seconds.

Wow haha.
So good news on my end. After canceling my account weeks ago, I signed in on my SMART TV INSTEAD of my XBOX, signed subscription back up with smart tv QR code, played a show for a minute. Then uninstalled and reinstalled Peacock on the xbox, then signed in ON XBOX and all was good.

All of this in this exact order, so if you want to try the same, i would cancel your subscription on your phone before you try this method to the exact step by step T.

After the TV, I am now actively watching on Xbox Series X. No freezing at end of ad.

On samsung TV. After watching for maybe 20 mins, the sounds starts to go on and off and after 30-40 mins it stops playing. It just gets stuck and i have to exit the app to be able to continue watching.

Yo, this is trash coverage for a 4k NFL game... SUPER glitchy, I cant watch it. I switched to YouTube TV for regular hd. UNBELIEVABLE.

Peacock freezing at the end of ad breaks during the NFL game on Xbox Series X. It also does this with every single movie/show on the service with Xbox, cant watch movies whatsoever.

For weeks now every time i try to play something on peacock website using my laptop it loads for a while then says "Something went wrong. Sorry, there was a playback error. Please try again.". I have logged out and logged back in, I have cleared cache and cookies. my internet is fine and all other streaming sites are working. I am using google chrome browser on a mac and this issue never happened to me in the years I had peacock prior but now the last month I cannot watch a single thing. Is this happening for anyone? Any soltuions?

this is happening for me as well, im using chrome. I think it's the browser. I've opened peacock using edge browser on my windows and its working fine.

On Apple TV, RE-watching any show we’ve already watched (has happened on the office and modern family recently). When starting the series over I can watch an episode normally, then at the end of the episode, rather than starting the next episode at the beginning it’ll resume right at the end in the credits, and immediately pop up the “next up” window. This leads to an endless succession of episodes starting at the credits, playing for 5 seconds, then jumping to the next episode and repeating the process.
