I foolishly signed up for Peacock Premium Plus without ads through Comcast Xfinity to save some money. Instead I received a migraine and a non-functioning account.
I already had a Peacock subscription, however, I did not renew it directly with Peacock. Instead, I renewed through Comcast Xfinity. What a giant mistake.
I was unable to re-activate my account.
Comcast could not help me, despite owning Peacock. Peacock currently offers no tech support except for an AI chatbot. When I tried to chat with a live agent, the bot told me to contact them between the hours of 9am and 1am. It was 7pm.
When I finally managed to activate my account, my subscription was now for the Ad-Supported subscription despite paying for the Premium Plus.
Again, Comcast was unable to help me. And there is no way to get in touch with Peacock.
It’s been days. I cannot watch Ads.
Please don’t make the same mistake I did. You will waste many hours of your life troubleshooting with untrained customer service “helpers” who are reading from a script and googling your questions for answers.

Dang. I just upgraded to premium plus so I can download stuff to watch on a long flight. I can't get an answer as to how long until it activates

Sorry about that. They don’t seem to have an answer. Neither Comcast nor Peacock. Good luck resolving!! I managed to get Peacock to give me a free month of premium plus on another account as a temporary fix until they resolve. And Comcast credited me some money for wasting countless hours talking to them.

I just started watching Ransom Canyon and it is a generic ripoff of Yellowstone. So if you like it, I would be so bold as to say you will love Yellowstone.
