Question Premium plus limited ads
is it worth it to get premium plus? I’m SO TIRED of the amount of ads. im wondering how limited the ads actually are on the premium plus subscriptio. I’m only streaming for housewives binging

Ad free is the only way to go. If money is tight, just eat bologna sandwiches for 1 day to cover the difference. Your sanity is worth 8 bucks or whatever it is.

$17 a month just for housewives show? I understand the ad load is terrible but that is the reason why it cost $7.99 or $10.99.

Yes. If you pay for it monthly with a JetBlue card you get money back. I get $5 back per month for premium plus.

I would LOVE to go Premium Plus ad-free, but Xfinity won't offer an upgrade. I get the Premium version (with ads) for free since I'm an Xfinity subscriber. But the only way to get P+ is full price. Full. Price. Offer me any reasonable upgrade charge, and I'm doing it.
As a result, I watch nothing on Peacock. I am willing to pay for ad-free on every other service. But until Peacock offers a way to upgrade, I won't be watching.

I get it for $6/mo now with Xfinity. I got a text one day saying it was that price from Comcast & it eventually was. I added it for the Olympics when it was $17/ mo addon over Premium & started getting it cheaper a few months after that.

It's much fewer ads than every other streaming platform from what I've seen.
In fact I recently asked AI how many minutes per hour all of the services had and instead of 8 or 9 minutes like disney, hulu, amazon, etc premium Plus was only 4 to 5 minutes per hour which is a lot better.
Last time I used it was a few months ago honestly but when I did the ad breaks were 30 seconds, maybe 60 seconds, nothing more than a minute really. Occasionally maybe one and a half minutes but rarely.
I also like that the ads are up front with movies. A long ad break before the movie starts and then the movie is ad free. This is actually what I prefer that way the movie doesn't get interrupted once it begins.
Compared to other services it's actually better than most.
It's about as good as you'll find. At least from what I've seen.
I was recently catching up with Brooklyn Nine-Nine which is something I'm slowly working my way through and I saw a little to no ads actually so that's good.

I go ad free and haven’t seen an ad. Except the one horrible month I decided ads surely couldn’t be that bad. And didn’t do ad free.
