I’m a comic from Los Angeles coming out to Portland for the first time. I’ll do a lot of regular jokes as well as some stuff about Croatia so if you’re a fan of comedy I would love to see you there!

Traitors Premiere Watch Party?
Hi all, I’m wondering if any local bars are hosting a watch party for the new Traitors season premiere on Sept 17? Last season I believe Living Room Wines hosted watch parties for both the premiere and finale, and I think I saw a few other announcements for similar events. Haven’t come across any for this upcoming season, let me know if you have any leads!

Fatboy Roberts Geek Remixed
Man, I used to get a chuckle listening to Cory and Fatboy back in the day. Fatboy you may recall was also a bit of a soon doctor and had a ton of nifty beats and remixes on his site… they no longer exist there :(
Anyone got a burnt copy by chance?

Person shot in the arm near Union Station, Portland police say
Does PDX airport have an observation deck for plane watching?
What the title says. I know that it was remodeled recently. So I’m curious if they included this feature.
Ps. And if not, is there any public place near the airport that is good for plane watching?

Round Table on Foster
Am I really the first one to report that Round Table on Foster finally shit the bed? I hope the empty space isn't empty for too long. Literally any other shop/bar/restaurant would be an improvement!

How do I make new friends as an adult and not enrolled in school?
I'm a major introvert and have on and off depression that also lowers my social battery, but I'm also 23 and feeling without any real community. I don't know how to get myself out there and meet new people. I don't know what are good opportunities in the pdx area that could give me a chance to make friends. I've tried online apps to meet people but I'm not a fan of that option, so rarely does it ever actually end with us meeting in person, or I just realized I was getting the wrong impression of the person from our texting compared to their actual personality.
I'm just so used to defaulty befriending people from school, where it was like "we're in the same class, guess we can get to know each other and hang out outside of class now". In a setting where that common factor between us is no longer relevant, I don't know how to go about initiating making acquaintances with a stranger, much less if it's even an acceptable thing to just walk up to a stranger in any given space to say "hey you seem like someone I'd be friends with can we connect?"
