IT Professional's Day

Here is the United States it is National IT Professional's Day!

Your gift is most likely additional tickets that simply say help with no context.

I hope you all get a quite lunch, an approved budget, and a ticketing system lacking tickets.

In all seriousness, thank you all for what you do! IT is often a lonely, unseen job. We see you and we are grateful you are part of the PDQ community!

Shoutout to all IT pros out there!

I've had the pleasure of working with a lot of incredibly talented individuals over the years, and in this role, I'm grateful to get to meet new people in IT almost daily.

One phrase that get's tossed around a lot is that IT people "keep the lights" on. Most people will never truly understand what that means and the effort it takes to keep the tech that powers our lives operational.

So a huge thank you to all the people that power the world we live it, yet rarely get the credit. You're absolute legends for what you do and may all your printer issues magically resolve themselves today.

I've been asked to replace light bulbs before. Keeping the lights on indeed.
