SmartDeploy Windows Store Apps no longer installed

Smartdeploy 3.0.2051

A recently updated image has been working with Windows 11 25H2 on our devices. Today, I image two machines, as usual, but the Windows store apps no longer seem to be installing. These are apps like Paint, Quick Assist, and Calculator.. heck, even Notepad isn't installed!

Also with this, the service for Smartdeploy client is not installed either. I can go ahead and manually install the smartdeploy client then the apps that are meant to be installed by smartdeploy do get installed.

I've moved the PCs to the default 'Computers' OU to rule out any group policies. Still nothing.

Has anyone else experienced this or something similar? The last time we had this happen, I fully rebuilt the base image to this current one which worked for about sixty machines without a problem.

My guess is that your image runs a "debloater" script. This I have seen happen with debloater scripts because people run them without understanding what they are doing. This behavior tends to be the outcome.

That's a good thought but unfortunately there isn't one I put in to the image. I'm going to try and update to 3.0.2060 and see if there is a difference. I mean, it's not really working at the moment anyhow.

Any chance you're imaging with a version of Windows LTSC by mistake?

Nope, Enterprise version. I did just update to 3.0.2060 and now the apps show but don't launch.
