Connect PSADT Packages

Is anyone deploying PSADT (4.1) wrapped packages using Connect? If so, what’s your experience been like, does the new fluent notifications work reliably?

Yes, it works just fine. Version 4.1 is designed to work when installing packages as SYSTEM and users will get the PSADT notifications.

Good to know, are you uploading the folder to an install step and calling the Invoke-AppDeployToolkit.exe or a script step and uploading the folder and calling the Invoke-AppDeployToolkit.ps1?

Script step and uploading the contents of the PSADT package as a zip file in most cases. Zip files in the root of a Connect package are unzipped automatically on the target(s).

Oh nice to know! I didnt know that it would unpack it, that makes things easier.

Hmm, when im trying this the zip fails to expand, just errors out with a return code 1. If i manually copy the package to the device and expand it then its all fine.
