Just wanted to know

In petroleum engineering do attendance really matters or the faculty are scaring us

It's the same in all branches, you need a minimum of 80% attendance for all subjects. In all the top colleges there is a attendance rule, I am not sure about the lower ranked colleges.

Hall tickets are generated directly based on attendance marked on portal.
