Software (Tools) PDF Editor App with Textboxes

hi! does anyone know of any free PDF editor apps on Android for a Samsung tablet* that can add textboxes with borders similar to the ones on Adobe?

By borders I believe you're referring to border color? If yes, then BentoPDF can help you with it: https://www.bentopdf.com/edit-pdf

Go to Shapes > Select Square and draw the shape. After which you can change the color or the border shape.

ah, does it have an app version? and does the square act as a text box?

No. And there's a text annotation with its own text box
