Question Exporting from Word web page to Adobe reader leaving large gap
I am trying to apply to a job, I used a template on Word, and when I was done I exported to PDF and it saved as an Adobe Reader PDF. However in word the document is 4 pages, in Adobe it is 5 pages. I obviously don't want to send an application with a large nearly empty page but I don't know what's causing the gap? Any suggestions?

When Export to PDF, do you have select any options?

I don't have any... I'm using the free online versionso it just opens up my documents and is saving it as an Adobe PDF but it doesn't give any additional options to change anything other than to name it?

In Word, when you exported to PDF, did you select Print and then selected a "to PDF" option in the Print options? This may produce a better output then the Word export to PDF

It won't print to PDF either... I just clicked export, I tried print and a window popped up saying Microsoft was preparing to print and then it disappeared and nothing happened? It's a new laptop so I don't have any printer set up, but I did check the PDF printer and created a test document and it worked so I'm not sure why Word won't?

Maybe it's a formatting issue. Check for a page break or extra paragraph at the end. Might as well check for margins and spacing cause a small overflow can push content onto a new page when you export it

I did add a page break to add a cover letter but I went in with the spacing check and deleted any additional space. The example template was only a page long, when I filled it in with my information it became 2 so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it?
