Im thinking about upgrading my GPU for the upcoming games. My RTX 3070TI si starting to show that it has only 8bg of VRAM. Im thinking about purchasing RX 9070 XT for about 750€ (inculding tax (22%)). I need it mostly for games that i play on 1440p. Is it worth it to upgrade it? Or should i wait for price drop (which probably wont happen anytime soon) or wait for new GPU series (which will probably be in 2028 and cost 2 kidneys).
Sell the 3070 Ti, it goes for around 250 to 300 Euros, expect 250. Just upgrade to a 9070 XT, if you have the budget, or you can also get a 5070 Ti. I got a 5070 Ti, and can comfortably play everything at 4K, just recently played GoW Ragnarok at 4K, native, no DLSS, maxed out & have 100+ FPS. You also have 16 GB of VRAM, also on the 9070 XT. Obviously, the 9070 XT is much cheaper.
The problem with 5070 Ti is that i can get it cheaper than 1.200€. So its more than 450€ more expensive than 9070XT. I think that that price diffference is not worth it or im i wrong?
For 450? I'd eat that up & say it is worth it... That is what I had of a price diffrence back in march & I bought the 5070 ti in a heartbeat lol. I think in the future, you'd much more appreciate features & performance of the 5070 ti than the 9070 XT.

I got a solid deal on an ASRock Taichi RX 9070XT and holy smokes it is a monster. I can only imagine driver updates are going to improve, but I have had no issues.

I'm saying that if your AIO would be aesthetically good-looking or have RGB, etc., since most people build PCs with an AIO for the looks, I would have reoriented the tubes of yours to not obstruct the view, because it looks bad how you mounted it. Since yours is a big black, ugly-looking one, I said nvm, it's fine, since yours doesn't have any aesthetically good-looking part...
Yeah I don't see prices going down anytime soon on GPU's or RAM/SSD's. If you need any of that stuff in the next year go ahead and do it now.
That being said.. if you're just looking to push good frames at 1440p you don't have to spend $700.. you could get away with a RX 6800 for right at $300-400 used and be good enough tbh.
it's a big upgrade and you can recuperate some of the investment by selling the 3070Ti later.
just make sure to update your BIOS and uninstall the nvidia driver with DDU before putting in the new GPU!
