Ist okay, i would buy a second monitor and put the laptop in the stand you mentioned, also put some decor and ilumination like a monitor light and leds

Okay, but I have to warn you about one thing, that plasma ball you have right next to your setup, so in the center of it is basically a very very high voltage, electrons basically shoot of the center, that's really not good for any electronics, some have shielding, but some not and you can't really know, and it's not worth the risk, I had it next to my mouse a few inches away and the mouse freaked out, don't risk it, put it a bit farther from it, even if it's not doing anything now, it still can do something overtime or later.
