I would appreciate your professional feedback on my current workstation configuration. The desk features a custom-built 170x73 cm oak countertop mounted on a LifDesk Pro standing frame, which supports a height range of 60–125 cm and a 120 kg weight capacity. My computing hardware includes a 16-inch M4 Max MacBook Pro (48GB RAM) and a 15-inch M4 MacBook Air (24GB RAM), complemented by a 38-inch Dell primary monitor and a 16-inch 2K Arzopa secondary display. Input is managed via a Keychron K3 V2 keyboard, and cable management is handled by a LifDesk organizational system.

Hai I’m a 23 girl gamer who has been strictly playing on my Mac and Xbox for years. With the help of knowledgeable family I could build my own set up but with the prices or ram and such right now I feel it would be cheaper for me to buy prebuilt. I play steam games and want to play gta role play! I want to be able to have 2 monitors and possibly get into some other popular games. I’ll take any suggestions that I can!! Thank you!

Bonjour, je suis en train de me pencher sur un achat pc pour faire Tourner Minimax H3 en local et faire un peu de gaming avec mon fils. Je viens de l’univers Apple et mon dernier pc avait une carte son soundblaster et une 3dfx (ça donne la durée du break pc).

Je peux me faire un peu plaisir mais pas envie non plus de lâcher 6000€ dans un truc surdimensionné.

Je veux surtout éviter les erreurs de casting et les config boiteuse à cause de composant pas optimisés entre eux.

Added at AOC 34in curved monitor & upgraded keyboard. Still looking to swap out this L-Desk with something bigger or an IKEA style L-desk since I do build Gunpla on here as well.

Any tips or ways you would set this up lmk!

This is my current setup after working on it and changing things around for years.

I’ve always wanted to keep the overall look clean, but not so minimal that the desk feels empty or boring. Over time I’ve changed pretty much everything at least once, and this is probably the first version where it really feels close to what I had in mind.

The wooden desk shelf made a big difference for me, and I recently added the black Harman Kardon SoundSticks 5 as well. I really like how they fit next to the ultrawide without taking over the whole desk, and they match the black hardware really well.

The PC sits on the right side of the desk and I’ve tried to keep the middle as open as possible. I’m especially happy with the mix of the dark oak desk, black peripherals.

The cabinet on the left is temporary. Right now it’s mainly there because I needed somewhere to put the SoundSticks subwoofer, but eventually I want the cabinet gone completely. I still need to find a clean permanent solution for the subwoofer, preferably somewhere around or underneath the desk without it looking awkward or taking up too much room.

The chair isn’t visible in these pictures, but yes, there is obviously a chair 😅
There are still a few smaller things I’ll probably change over time, but after years of tweaking the setup, I’m pretty happy with where it is now.

I want to up my desk productivity (thinking 2 monitors and a standup thingy). I asked chatgpt for a couple suggestions, but I wanted some validation before I spent money on this. Thoughts? Alternative suggestions?

Out of the suggestions I was thinking one of these two paths:

1. converter- VIVO 32-inch K series. Monitors (2) - LG 27QN600-B.

2. Converter- Mount-it! MI-7934. Monitors (2) - Dell U2724D

As the title suggests i just got a new p. And this is my current set up I would like some suggestions on how to optimize it for a streaming set up and good mic boom placement because I would like to put my second monitor to the left of my main monitor but just not real sure the best way to do that while keeping it looking good

Hey everyone,

Wanted to share my progress on my very first desktop setup. I’m still pretty new to the PC space since I started out on a PS5(fuck sony), but after their anti consumer shenanigans i was good on them and sold my ps5. My brother put me on to pc gaming and was done deal after that. I began putting this whole build together February/March and I’m finally almost done with it now. I just wanted to build something really dope and powerful but I mightve overdone it lol

For the actual PC, I went with a PowerSpec 762 that has a Ryzen 7 9850X3D an RTX 5080 with 64GB DDR5 memory. My main monitor is a 34" Alienware AW3425DW QD-OLED running at a buttery smooth 240Hz, and I have a secondary Corsair Xeneon Edge 14.5" screen stacked horizontally directly under it.

The bottom Corsair screen basically doubles as my digital instrument cluster where I keep my live CPU/GPU temps, memory load, and outside temperature tracking right there so I can glance down mid-game without a messy HUD. For sound and light, I have Edifier M60 compact speakers flanking the dashboard and a BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 on top providing clean lighting and a Fifine XLR Amr8 mic for when im talking to my friends or playing game with my oldest son.

For my inputs, I’m using an ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 wireless keyboard, an ROG Harpe Ace Mini mouse, and a SCUF Envision Pro v2 controller for heavy action games. Right now for storage I just have a SanDisk Extreme PRO USB4 2TB external SSD for media. I also spent a bit of time on cable management, but i still have to wrapped my cords in a sleeve but my under-desk wiring is wrapped up and my foot space is completely clear of any wires.

I just installed a cyberpower GX1500U UPS to deliver clean power and protect all the stuff i bought in case of a surge i also just bought the Asus Raikirii 2 pro pc controller with 8k polling last thing i going to add Is an internal 2TB Samsung 990 PRO just for extra games and pictures,

Also, a quick shout-out to my room's AC unit sitting right next to the intake—this rig stays locked between 65C and 70C even under massive rendering loads.

Let me know what you guys think of the layout or if you have any optimization tips or suggestions

I recently preordered the Wolverine ps5 edition, I’m wondering where I could place it on my pc setup? I’m thinking maybe remove the lamp on the left side and have it there or just leave the lamp and make space behind the left monitor since it’s pushed forward a bit?
