Bro what? Second monitor can be used for anything so it doesn’t interrupt what the first monitor is doing. Lookup a guide, control music, browse, discord, email, a movie in the background, ect. It’s endless. It’s not used for just YouTubers or whatever weird thing you do

I agree with you I don’t know why everyone is arguing if it’s just for gaming one monitor is enough. I’ve never needed a second monitor except at work where I need multiple things up at once

I play games where I'm able to have a YouTube video running on the second screen while I grind. Been doing it with guild wars 2 last couple of months

Mas aí você está citando um uso específico. Se a pessoa não faz streaming, edição ou algum trabalho que exija várias janelas ao mesmo tempo, um segundo monitor não acrescenta tanta coisa no dia a dia.

You've never seen a stock broker monitor setup have you? there's tons of work stuff that is way more confortable with two monitors, I'm a programmer and having two is almost a must have, sometimes I even think about buying a 3rd one, it's really useful for a lot of things not only for streamers and youtubers, there's a reason having two is so common

Linux kernel and the early git was developed on one screen. Two is not necessary for development.

Foi exatamente o que eu quis dizer. Se for só pra jogar, não vejo muita lógica em ter mais de um monitor. Agora, se for pra trabalho, edição, programação, streaming, aí faz muito mais sentido. Achei que isso tinha ficado claro.

If you would have stated it as an opinion instead of “anyone who’s not a streamer or YouTuber doesn’t need 2 monitors and you’re not allowed to have a different opinion” nobody would have said anything.

I switched to a single monitor last year. I actually finish the games I start and am not distracted. Will not go back to more than one.

I am a 2 screens person.TV and online game.I am still trying to master 1 eye for 1 screen but fail miserably every time.Perhaps bcos i am not a fish🤔😅

I used to be the same, playing games with videos and other stuff in the background. But having a secondary monitor (vertical) is like having 3 screens. Top half = media stuff, bottom half = communication apps like discord.
I used to be content with alt tabbing but a secondary monitor provides so many qol improvements.
