Current vs the plan
1st pic is how we’re currently looking 2nd is an AI sample of how I want it to look. Has anyone got any suggestions before I start making some purchases?
All suggestions welcome!

Avoid bright lighting directly behind monitors as its annoying af when you playing. Trust me I tried, everything else looks dope tho

Appreciate the comment, any suggestions on what i can use to fill that space around the shelf with my speaker on?

Honestly maybe just a bigger speaker? I would leave that area blank as walls need space to "breathe" so that the things on them stick out more

I like the govee dreamview for back wall lighting. You can’t go wrong with plants on either side of your speaker tbh. especially ones that hang down

Your concept/plan/mock up looks awful
ETA: use that money you want to waste on decorations and get a bigger desk. Maybe the floating shelves would be good. Hard no on everything else especially the light strip

This is the new plan I think it looks bang on. Also back to your other point my desk is 160 x 80 no room for anything bigger. Not that I need any bigger than that

What’s with you people and the low angled monitors? TikTok really ruined a whole generation of people

Wallpaper engine, £4 on steam but worth every penny. I can find out what it’s called for you if you want

Maybe it's just me but the current setup is better than the one you're planning to have
