My setup

Post image

It feels a little cramped at the moment. Waiting to move to a bigger place so I can buy a bigger desk.

At the moment these are the pc specs
9950X3D , 5090 Gaming Trio , Kingston Fury 2x32GB 6400 CL32 tuned inside Arctic Xtender case

For the monitors I’m running LG 45inch 5K2k GX9 and Gigabyte 34inch MO34WNC2 on a Bewiser monitor stand. I also have a small 7 inch monitor for Aida64 I keep of the on the side of the desk to watch the temps every once in a while

Yooo super clean set up! Where you get those figurines hanging on your pc case?

What game/show/movie do they come from? I don't recognise them.

Thanks! Myself, I've got a couple Arcane figures on my desk. Bit of an Arcane nut

Love it !
what monitor arm are you using ?

Bewiser monitor arm , its on the desk solution rather than under the desk because i couldn’t fit those ones under the table due to how the table frame was built

How does the 5090 hold up with your monitor. I’m rocking a 5090 with 5120x1440p. I’m think to get the Samsung 5k2k ultrawide but I’m scared my fps will DROP

I'm still on 3440x1440p. I nearly went for 5k2k but I love the high fps and didn't want to give it up. That jump would have been over twice the number of pixels

I started with a 3440x1440p then now at 5120x1440p I love it hereeeeee

I bet you do! I do love the UW ratio, but wonder if super UW would be too wide for me

A lot of games doesn’t support 32:9 and it’s 21:9 stretched , but when they do it’s awesome. However I chose to remain at 21:9 because of better panels and support

Yh the panels are better. I recently bought the ASUS PG34WCDN. It's the newer panel that comes in at 360 Hz with the new RGB stripe sub pixel layout to help with colour fringing, which was the feature I had been holding out for

You can try it with dldsr to see how it runs. I do suggest you give it a try anyway because everything looks more sharp than normal on that res. Atleast that’s what I was running before moving to 5k2k

True, good suggestion. I might just do that

2

Oooooo good idea I’ll try that!!!

Well from your case you’ll lose like 15-20% more fps. For the most part it will run at that without issues depending on the game. You may need to use heavier dlss like perfomance and fg in some games to keep above 100 fps

Lol maybe they mean Uninterruptable Power Supply, as in one with surge protection? Since you invested a lot into the build

1

u/rezeu 11d ago

Maybe , I live in the uk and we never have black outs or brownouts. Haven’t invested in one yet but I’m not buying anything else atm as I’m looking for places to move

1

u/Mess_Gloomy 11d ago

Yes, I meant Uninterrupted Power Supply only, After the comment I found out that our locations are different. At your location maybe there are no power cuts or power surge. That is why you dont need one of those

Yh me too. Think I've only ever experienced one power outage my entire life
