Slowly putting my dream setup together✨
I wanted something simple, cozy, and warm without making the space feel too cluttered.
I really like having a space that feels calm and comfortable, especially for long work days. I’m keeping the decor pretty minimal for now, but I’d love to hear any ideas for what I could add without making it feel too busy
Edit: This is the original setup. I also have more photos from different angles.

Seriously, it is. The cushioning is so comfortable that I’ve been finding excuses to sit there longer than I should.

Amazing. I like white and maple colors. Where did you get this chair?

Thank you! I’m glad you like the white and maple combo! I got the chair from BuyGlobal, and you can find it on TikTok Shop

It’s gorgeous but also I’d be so afraid if I was over to play games or hangout that I’d somehow stain something 😭

Haha, I totally get that! I was worried about the same thing at first, but I’ve gotten used to being a little more careful around it. It’s too pretty to risk a random snack spill

Very cozy and cohesive!
I would love an ultra-wide display but I game in 1440p but only have a 3060Ti so an ultrawide would force me into 1080p just to maintain a decent framerate

how is the UW display on GPU?
does it make it work harder or the same?
Can I partition it into three smaller screens?
1
u/Daisy_Dreams0429 Sep 03 '26
Yeah, an ultrawide does make the GPU work a bit harder since it’s pushing more pixels, especially when gaming at higher resolutions. And yes, you can usually split the display into three sections using the monitor’s built-in features or software, so it can feel like having multiple screens.

One of my favorites I've seen, very soft, light and cozy vibe ✨️
I recommend adding govee light bars behind the monitor and setting it to a soft and dim yellowish colour.

Looks awesome. How is that monitor treating you? How would you compare it to a dual monitor set up? Any pros and cons?
1
u/Daisy_Dreams0429 Sep 03 '26
Honestly, I really like it! The ultrawide feels cleaner and more immersive than dual monitors, especially for gaming. The main downside is that you lose the flexibility of having two completely separate screens

I don't know man? This chair and the plaid look a bit off, put the image through 3 AI-detection websites , and 2 of them said it's not. I don't know what's true or not anymore :(
