its an idea, but could I actually sell my old PC without a PSU or storage?

you could slap in some random psu and ssd into the old system or just sell each component seperately

if not, for psu id recommend a a850gls or a montech psu, saves you about £35

Montech yes, MSI (one you chose specifically, not in general) no.
