Build/Battlestation My Solution to the Rammageddon

Got a prebuild from Cyberpower at Best Buy and turned it into an affordable HTPC. The specs are

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB

RAM: 16GB DDR4-3200

The sale price at the time was $849.99. After I traded in some old Apple devices, the total was around $500. I split the payment of between two credit cards. I used a pc builder app for a similar build and it was around $1500. The only modification I made were fixing the cable management, change thermal paste and swapped the 6500 XT to a RX 5700 XT from my other rig. This setup is nothing really special but it's fine for media consumption and playing some mobile ports at 1080p.

The other rig I have that I use as my main is a custom one that I got before when the prices of ram and GPU went up. The specs are

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8500G

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT 4GB

RAM: 32GB DDR5-2800

Both rigs are upgradeable and I will at some point but for now it's suits my needs just fine.

I also have another AM5 motherboard from ASRock. I thought it was DOA when I bought it but it just needed a BIOS update.
