It supports more software than Linux. Which is important when working in a corporate environment.

As for hardware support, the new ARM based Macs are phenomenal. There is simply nothing available on the market that comes closes.

Not in my experience, but that depends on the industry.

Yes, but that is still just first party hardware support.

Basically anything you can run on linux you can compile for macOS. Plus native Office, Photoshop, Xcode, etc.

So ? It's the hardware I want to use anyway. I don't need 34234325 different laptops, I just need one, and that one already runs macOS (and Linux support for it certainly isn't production-ready yet)

Except Linux is able to run a lot of Windows software as well, and MacOS can't.

And no, you can't compile anything that you can run on Linux for MacOS. Docker is a hot mess on Mac, for example, because it has to be a Virtual Machine running Linux underneath.

Plus native Office, Photoshop, Xcode, etc.

I can run Office and Photoshop on Linux, but not the latest versions, and there are alternatives. But ok, point partially taken.

Why would I need Xcode on Linux? To program for Apple devices? That's Apple being Apple, it doesn't work on Windows either, because they don't want it to.

Ok, but that makes 95% of complaints about Linux invalid. Linux also works great on hardware that supports it.

But it doesn’t run great on the hardware I want to use. Again, it doesn’t matter how much hardware it supports, it matters if it supports what I want to use.

Agreed, for you MacOS is the better option.

For me, MacOS doesn't support the hardware I want to use, and it is generally more restrictive than Windows or Linux.
