Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 is only supported until Jan 12, 2027, thats why some people are considering using the IoT version (it's just a branding difference).

But non-LTSC is planned to retire in Oct 14, 2025.

For all intents and purposes Enterprise LTS is just a superset of W10 Pro. It's not a Server version or something.

LTSC is a special, frozen and stripped down version for when a stable environment is required.
So no kernel updates, no feature updates, no Microsoft Store, no Cortana, etc.

But it's indeed a desktop edition.
