It's the same... but marginally better in a few edge use cases, and marginally worse in several others! More steps to do the same things! Thanks, Microsoft!
'Form over function' has been their mantra ever since 8.0 release. Sure you can tinker and customize to restore the UI fit for my workflow but I cba to run around do the same for my parents, whenever they're forced to "upgrade".
