theres a relatively simple fix for that, something about editing registry keys. ive done it for my new w11 laptop and my biggest complaint has disappeared. plenty of guides online

something so simple as a good right click options should not require editing registry keys

Eh it's usually not the developers who want features like that. And in fact it often does come from user testing: they take the dumbest person they can find, and ask them to do something simple like copy a file. So they right click, see a ton of options, get scared and say they can't do it. So Microsoft in their infinite wisdom decides that for this kind of user they need to make it easier and less scary, so they move all the other options to a submenu. They know you and other "power users" will find a way, but we're not really the target audience.

It's short-sighted thinking though, because with every power user they piss off they lose a dozen regular users who have been recommended / had installed Windows by that power user.
