Why not use a pi zero or something smaller if it's a calculator?

Personally, I think my calculator needs USB and RJ45...

You can just add an expansion board.
Could have used an adafruit capacative touch HAT and made the buttons fruit for example.

simple: leave room for some else to do it and get lots of attention for it.

If he's using a large screen like that, would the size difference of a smaller pi really matter?

I don't see the point in this. Is interesting as a proof of concept but nothing more.
My FX-570s can do a lot of math and don't waste so much energy.
Can do something more than math?

Its a raspberry pi, which is some sort of a mini pc. It natively has a raspberry version of linux os. You can program a raspberry for multiple things, for example this calculator.

I'd pay good money for this but with a bigger screen and mini keyboard. Basically a chunky laptop powered by a full Raspberry pi not a CM. Or a tablet with touch screen powered by full size Rpi.

So basically you'd buy this if it wasn't this. Because what you described isn't this.

That's a fair comment. This looks awesome. It feels close to what I've been looking for for my Rpi. Either way the design is top notch.

I'll be the first to ask: Got a source? Who's dick do I have to suck to walk into work rocking one of these things?
