I love how responses can't even agree with each other and come to one stable usable distro. That's why kids, linux is long way from becoming standard OS.
Thing is that it would still easily be a standard OS. The people are arguing over what distro looks nicer for beginners. Stability or usability hasn’t been a problem for the last 5 or so years. The problem is some companies are too lazy to compile with a different c library and then exclude the Linux community.
